On August 26, the 2025 Future Foreign Trade Conference was successfully held at the Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou. The theme of the conference was “Local Accounts Chain the World, Expanding the New Blue Ocean of Foreign Trade Together.” The event was organized by China’s B2B foreign trade financial platform XTransfer, with co-sponsorship from the Greater Bay Area Import and Export Business Association and the Guangdong Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and support from the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce. The conference saw the attendance of over 3,000 small and medium-sized foreign trade business owners, including XTransfer’s Founder and CEO Deng Guobiao, renowned financial author Wu Xiaobo, foreign trade expert Xu Dan, and iFlytek’s AI translation hardware marketing general manager Cai Hao, who all gathered to discuss the new path of foreign trade in the changing global trade landscape.
1. Emerging Markets and AI as the New Directions for Foreign Trade
At the conference, many speakers focused on key issues such as “emerging markets” and “AI,” offering foreign trade businesses guidance on their strategic direction.
Deng Guobiao, Founder and CEO of XTransfer, delivered a speech titled “Leading Payment Reform, Benefiting Global Foreign Trade,” emphasizing the necessity for Chinese foreign trade businesses to explore developing markets. He pointed out that foreign trade enterprises need to adjust their market strategies, turn their focus to emerging markets, and leverage localized operations to seize new growth opportunities.

Financial author Wu Xiaobo discussed “The Age of Exploration: China’s Business Breakthrough and New Beginnings,” analyzing the core of global trade transformation. He noted that emerging market countries have strong economic vitality and massive consumption potential, urging Chinese companies to actively expand their business. He also highlighted AI and big data as essential tools for enterprises to navigate emerging markets, enabling businesses to track market trends, manage risks, and achieve sustainable development.
Han Zifeng, General Manager of Pioneers Think Tank, further proposed that “‘AI + Foreign Trade’ has become the new survival rule.” He explained how AI technology can significantly enhance business efficiency and profitability in areas such as customer development, supply chain optimization, and risk management. He stressed that in the new era of AI-driven foreign trade, companies not adopting AI would risk losing their competitive edge.
As a major partner of the conference, iFlytek showcased its AI applications. Cai Hao, General Manager of iFlytek’s AI translation hardware marketing, shared insights into iFlytek’s overseas expansion strategy and global brand experience. He emphasized that the core for Chinese companies going global lies in core AI technology, insights into overseas users, and localized operations. iFlytek not only expands globally but also helps foreign trade businesses break through language barriers through AI translation, making global trade possible even without language skills.
2. iFlytek AI Translation Empowering Foreign Trade
The experience of Zhejiang Nuote Electric’s founder Wang Heping serves as a vivid example of how iFlytek’s AI translation is empowering foreign trade. Initially, Wang faced difficulties in overseas expansion due to language barriers, relying on “silent communication” with foreign clients, which led to several misunderstandings. The challenge was even greater with the differences in market rules, such as certification requirements in the U.S. and explosion-proof standards in the Middle East. During the first three years, Wang struggled to adapt to market conditions.
The turning point came with the introduction of the iFlytek translation device, which helped Wang’s company expand from a foreign trade startup with no revenue to successfully entering international markets. Today, Zhejiang Nuote Electric’s water dispenser products are sold at international airports in London, Abu Dhabi, and New York, with annual revenue exceeding 200 million yuan.

The newly launched iFlytek Dual-Screen Translation Machine 2.0 has been deeply optimized for high-frequency foreign trade scenarios, further improving cross-border communication efficiency. Its one-meter dome-style noise reduction design, combined with the innovative noise-canceling algorithm, filters out distant noise in noisy environments such as trade shows and factories, ensuring clear conversations. It also features an offline translation engine supporting 18 languages, solving communication challenges in areas with weak signals or no network.
In addition to the translation device, iFlytek’s AI voice recorder has become a “productivity assistant” for foreign trade companies. Xu Dan, a well-known foreign trade entrepreneur and founder of Link Supply Chain, encountered several communication challenges when transitioning into foreign trade, such as missing key information due to clients’ strong accents and nervousness during non-native negotiations. These issues were resolved with the iFlytek AI voice recorder, which records the entire negotiation and then converts the recordings to text for a detailed review. This technology helps capture “hidden demands” mentioned casually by clients, such as “lack of warehouse space” that implies “batch delivery,” improving negotiation success. Furthermore, the voice recorder has facilitated internal training by building a training material database, significantly enhancing team efficiency.
In today’s rapidly changing global trade environment, iFlytek continues to focus on technological innovation and scenario applications. By providing AI solutions with Chinese origin technology, iFlytek empowers foreign trade enterprises with precision operations and long-term growth, further strengthening the international presence of “Chinese brands.”
